I Love My Divine Sleek Palette

SULTRY SMOKY EYES
I absolutely LOVE smoky eyes. It's my most worn look and as much as I would like to deny wearing loads of make up all the time, the fact of the matter is, I do. I have to say, to create this look, the most must have bargain buy last year for me was my Divine Sleek palette which only cost me £6.49! The palette has 12 metallic colours that are very pigmented, so the littlest amount can create the boldest looks! I'm not a huge fan of many colours myself as I have a tendency to stick to black when it comes to make up, however, this palette is definitely something that has convinced me otherwise.

There are various other coloured palettes to choose from in the Sleek range. I also purchased the Acid palette, which has a range of neon and bright, highly pigmented colours for the more daring me... (haha!) The metallic shadows have a silky finish, whereas the acid colours are more matt. Out of my experience I tend to stick to matt colours during the day and go for more sheen in the evening. 9 times of of 10 I stick to matt eye shadows as opposed to glitter shadows.

To be entirely honest, I really really dislike glitter shadows. It's not that it doesn't look pretty, it's just the fall out that annoys me like hell. Even if you hold a tissue up to try to catch the fall out, somewhere at some point in the night there will be that one speck of glitter on your face that will continuously annoy you. I hate that. Glitter shadows would be awesome if someone could recommend me one that sticks wherever you put it and doesn't move.

If you would like to purchase the palettes above, you can get them at any Superdrug store, or on their website www.SleekMakeUp.com.
